Balsam Empowerment and Advocacy Center (BEAC) Uganda empowers rural poor children, youths, young mothers and their families. We are located in Uganda (East Africa) in Jinja district. Our target communities are Masese, Wairaka and Tongolo Landing sites where most of the youths are unemployed and ideally depend on fishing and petty businesses.

The school drop out rates are high in these areas due to poverty, with many young mothers who barely have any knowledge about child upbringing. Many children living along landing sites have been exposed to risks that hinder their wellbeing and good health.

4. Capacity building, skills training and Community education

5. Strengthened community youth platform to promote youth livelihood development
